November 12, 2024 - KOMODO, the official licensed provider of Steam Deck in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, is joining forces with Valve to support the ‘Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy’ at G-Star 2024, a leading global game show in Busan, South Korea.
This collaboration will showcase indie titles from over 20 developers across Korea, the UK, and beyond, offering attendees a unique chance to experience a diverse lineup of innovative indie games on Steam Deck. The Steam Deck demo experience, located in the Indie Showcase area of BEXCO’s Exhibition Hall 2, invites visitors to engage with these fresh and creative titles, spotlighting the indie spirit at the heart of the event.
Alongside the Indie Showcase titles, Steam Deck will also feature a selection of KOMODO-published games and popular AAA titles.

Visitors can explore the Steam Deck demo experience in two distinct zones: a hands-on area near the indie developers’ booths and a relaxing lounge where they can unwind while experiencing the Steam Deck’s portability firsthand.
In addition to supporting the Indie Showcase, KOMODO is sponsoring Netmarble’s demo area at G-Star 2024 with Steam Deck units. This setup invites visitors to experience the adventure of MONGIL: STAR DIVE on Steam Deck, offering a fresh way to engage with Netmarble’s upcoming title. KOMODO is thrilled to showcase the powerful features of Steam Deck, a portable gaming PC beloved by fans worldwide, and to introduce its unique appeal to Korean gamers, enhancing their gaming experience with greater immersion and versatility.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, ‘G-Star 2024’ will take place from November 14 to 17, 2024 (KST) at BEXCO, welcoming a record number of gaming enthusiasts and industry professionals from around the world. This year’s event will showcase the latest in gaming technology and trends, with over 59 exhibitors in the Business-to-Consumer (BTC) zone and 104 exhibitors in the Business-to-Business (BTB) zone.
