TOKYO, JAPAN - December 7, 2023 - KOMODO, the international game company and the official provider of Valve’s Steam Deck and Docking Station in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, announces that Steam Deck OLED, which launched sales online on November 17th, will commence sales at retail locations in these regions starting on December 12th.

Steam Deck OLED is the same powerful handheld PC gaming console experience as the original Steam Deck LCD, but with an HDR OLED screen, a longer lasting battery, faster WiFi, and a slew of tweaks and improvements across the board, with seamless support for over 12,000 Deck Verified games.

Since the launch of sales on the Steam Deck Store operated by KOMODO, Steam Deck OLED has been very well received. Now, the product will be available for purchase offline at authorized retail stores, along with trial experiences (available at select locations).
